The South Front

Now that we've cleared around the house and cleaned up most of the trash in and around the house, the focus is shifting to giving the South Front a facelift. The South Front “before” photoWe're excited to finally be working on actual restoration! Karen and Grace will work on stripping off the countless layers of paint from the cypress siding while I focus on repairing any damaged wood. The first step is removing the dentil molding for repair. Update: The upper shutters, gutters and dentil molding assemblies on the South front are all down.I stapled plastic up at the top to keep the rain out until I can rebuild the molding and get it back up.
